The Land of Kolinahr

The Vulcan Ancestors Cast out there Emotions here on the sands of Kolinahr. The Vulcan Race was saved by the Attainment of Kolinahr. It started with Knome, and Surak eventually developed Kolinahr.

Knome if a Philosophy of a number of things to make existence worth wild. It is a core of the Vulcan Philosophy. Knome, meaning ALL.

Kolinahr is the Vulcan Ritual named after these lands. It is the Ritual that is suppose to purge all remaining emotions. 

According to Vulcan History, Vulcan had devastating wars, one had ended, another one was about to start. Kolinahr would be the land where the last battle of Vulcan occurred. If you note, there are Hot Springs all over Kolinahr. On such a hot arid planet, Water must have been the object of many battles.

Surak's side sent Emissaries to the other side to negotiate peace. The First were killed, But others followed. Surak was able to convince the other side to take up the cause of peace. a Peace that has lasted since then.

To join the Discipline of logic, one must labor long. When they are done, they receive a Symbol of Total Logic. (Picture above)
